How To Order

You can place an order with eAegis in any of the following ways:

  1. On-line: anytime 24/7 using our SSL secure server and shopping cart (recommended for speed and accuracy).
  2. By Post: This service is only applicable to customers placing Purchase Orders with Account status.
  3. By Fax: This service is only applicable to customers ordering by Purchase Orders and have Account status. If you prefer to place an order by fax, please proceed through the shopping cart process until you reach the payment page. Choose the Order by Fax option, then print out the FAX Order Form using your browser's print function, add your signature, and fax it to us at 1-407-951-8938.
  4. By Purchase Order: University, educational institutions, corporations and government agencies can order using valid Purchase Orders. Corporations must have good credit rating and complete a credit application.

Shopping Cart

The eAegis website uses an automated shopping cart system to facilitate your on-line shopping with us. For your privacy protection, you will notice that we DO NOT require cookies to be turned on for our cart to work. Click the 'Buy Now' button to add an item to your online cart.

You can view your cart at any time by clicking on the 'View Cart' link at the top right of the page. You can easily modify your order to delete any item or change quantities of any item at any time. You are not obligated to buy anything in your shopping cart unless and until you decide to finalize your purchase and continue with the Checkout process.

The shopping cart also shows you the various shipping charges for the different levels of delivery service available. When you are finished and have all the items you need, click on the 'Check Out' button to begin the check-out procedure.

The next step is to provide your Customer Information on our secure server, including your address information and your credit card information. During this stage, all your information transmitted to us is securely encrypted.

Once complete, you click on 'Submit' and you will be presented with a detailed summary of your order, but without any credit card information. We do not store credit card information on our website.

Order Acceptance

Your order or your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. eAegis reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order. eAegis reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to supply less than the quantity you ordered if we deem the quantities ordered are excessive. All orders placed must obtain pre-approval with an acceptable method of payment, as established by our credit department. We may require additional verification or information before accepting any order.

Pricing

We believe that our pricing is very attractive relative to our competition. The combination of our product assortment, product availability and service level offers what we believe is a fulfilling shopping experience.

All prices are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to provide you the most accurate, up-to-the-minute information. Despite our best efforts, some items on our web site may be mispriced. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical, photographic, or technical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, eAegis shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price.

If an item’s correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and ship you the item. If an item’s correct price is higher than our stated price, we will cancel your order and notify you of the price error and order cancellation. You will, of course, have an opportunity to purchase the item at the correct price, if you so wish. While we make every attempt to verify prices before charging your credit card, eAegis shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed on mispriced product whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, eAegis shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

Availability

The availability information presented on our site is the best, most current information we have, but errors do occur, and this information does not constitute a guarantee or promise of availability. If a product you have ordered is not available for shipment, we will do our best to let you know. Anticipated delivery dates are dependent upon our suppliers and other factors beyond our control, and are subject to change.

Order Changes and Modifications

If you would like to modify an existing order, we ask that you do so by calling us at 1-407-951-8935. If we receive your phone request prior to the order being shipped or picked for shipment, we would be happy to modify the order as requested. Order modifications sent by email to us may not be received or acted upon in time to modify your order.

Order Cut-Off Time

Orders for in-stock items received by 3PM Eastern Time that are credit-approved usually ship that business day, depending on that day's level of shipping activity and the schedule of the courier when picking up items from our warehouse. Orders placed and/or credit approved later than the applicable cut-off time will ship the next business day.

For orders for items that are out-of-stock, or have gone out of stock due do that day's sales level activity, we will accept that order and attempt to fulfill your order in a timely manner, unless you notify us to cancel the order. We encourage you to check your order's status on the Order Status page for an estimated ship date.

Orders placed and credit approved anytime Saturday or Sunday or holidays for items in stock will ship on the next business day. Please note that our warehouses do not ship on Saturday, Sunday or major holidays. Product availability, geographic location and other factors determine the warehouse location that your product ships from. This information does not constitute a guarantee.

Order Cancellations

If you must cancel an order for any reason, please call us at ( 1-407-951-8935), or email us at cancel@eaegis.com. If your order has not shipped yet, we can usually cancel the order for you. To confirm your order cancellation, please check the eAegis Order Status page-your status will show as "Canceled" when it is next updated.

In some cases, we may not be able to cancel the order because it has already shipped. If this occurs, we will gladly accept a return consistent with our non-defective return policy, but we will not be able to refund the shipping and handling fees and you will be responsible for the return shipping to eAegis. We suggest that you use a return shipment method that issues tracking numbers, so that you can ensure that the item is safely returned to our Returns Depot. Please note that if the box is opened, we reserve the right to charge a 15% restocking fee. Returns where the product's outer packaging is marked or defaced in any way, or where any of the internal packaging materials are missing, will not be accepted, and will be returned to the owner at the owner's expense.

International Orders

eAegis accepts orders from most International countries under the following terms and conditions. Note that all International orders are manually screened for fraudulent credit card use prior to processing. All attempts to place fraudulent orders are recorded and forwarded to the proper local and international authorities.

There is a minimum order amount of $100, not including shipping, for International orders. Depending on the value of your order or your country of destination, we may require additional identification and/or pre-payment by wire transfer prior to the order being processed and shipped. You will be advised of this by return email and your order will be held 'pending' until resolved.

If we request additional identification from you, please fax or email us a legible copy or jpg/gif of your credit card (front and back) along with a copy of a piece of your picture ID. Email your jpg or gif file as an attachment to sales@eaegis.com.

LOST OR MISSING SHIPMENTS:

In the event that an order fails to arrive at your international destination, eAegis will track the shipment and reroute it if necessary. In the event the shipment is lost, eAegis will submit an insurance claim for the order and will provide a refund to you immediately upon receipt of the insurance claim refund. This can take upwards of 30 days in some instances.

LOCAL CUSTOMS & DUTIES:

You are responsible for all customs, duties and taxes payable at your country's customs offices when these goods are imported into your country. Rates for duty and taxes vary from country to country. You are advised to check locally with your government customs agents to see what rate you would pay for these 'electronic navigation' goods. In the event any customs, duties and taxes for your order are billed back to us, they will be automatically billed to your credit card. We are often asked to 'use a lower value on the invoice' or to 'mark it as a gift' in order to avoid paying local duties and taxes - please note that it is our policy to ship orders only with the correct invoice included.
